New Website for Organisers

Bike Week at UK level has launched an “Interim” site where people thinking of organising events betwen April and June this year can register.

An interim Event Organiser’s Guide “packed with ideas and inspiration for organising events” complete with “handy checklist to keep you on track and some tips for achieving publicity” is available for downloading.

A new Bike Week sponsor has been secured and will be announced ‘soon’.

Only Five Months to Go

Once again Bike Week is being planned for the end of June. Last year it was much more than unseasonably wet, so this year…

The first BW event takes place on February 12th – a free seminar about organising events.

Last year in  Edinburgh events included rides, breakfasts, sport and the Bike Week Film Festival.

Expect more of the same this year and some new things. You can take part – or organise something.
